In the beginning, the idea was to create a product that was strictly
hand-crafted by using natural materials as well as recycled items using
traditional tools of the trade.
By doing this, the product became something so much more than a profitable item. It became something personal; it became a unique art form that someone put all of their physical and emotional energy into.
We want to be able to create something with our own two hands that differed from the ways of the world that surrounded us.
We didn't want to rush a product due to high demand. We didn't want to take shortcuts to cut back time and materials, and we definitely didn't want to separate ourselves from the possible relationships that we could have with people due to money.
We want to give something more to people. Something that we could hand them and tell them how it was made, how we felt while making it, and how much their purchase truly meant to us. We want to give a story and a memory rather than a “thanks for your money, see ya!” relationship.

" I have been working with Leather since Fall of 2010. My inspiration came from when I traveled up to Illinois for the annual Cornerstone Festival.
I met a man at the "crusty" camp that made things out of leather. I was so inspired that when i found myself back in Texas for a hot minute, I started making similar things that I saw back in Illinois.
