DIY: Business Card Paper Case

So you got your business cards just came in!
Everyone told you that your sales will increase, your views on your page will sky rocket and above all, it would be the cheapest way to advertise!
I was told the same thing until I started thinking about a few key things .

But before I go on any further I want you to think about something.
You empty your pockets at the end of the day. You pull out pocket change, receipts, lint, etc
What do you throw away and keep?

Truth is Most folks will throw away a business card just as they would throw lint and the receipts.
So I came up with an idea that might help your customers keep your business cards a little bit longer.
We used Eco Friendly Card stock Paper and Sinew
You can Use The Avery Template Maker for Name Tags. Make them a little wider so when you bind the ends together there is room left for the business cards.
Materials Used:
Recycled Eco Card Stock Paper
Sinew (You can use thread or ribbon)
Leather Punch (Size #0)

1) I went to the Avery website and downloaded the name tag template. (Click Here to Download)
I used Photoshop to make the template about a 1/4 inch larger just so when I tied the sinew into a bow the cards slip into the case fairly easy.

2) Make sure you put some kind of art work on the card case. Keep it Simple!
Keep in mind that we live in a chaotic world, visually you can use a simple design that can cause calmness to the holder of your cards. Around my desk I try to keep things organized and simple so during those chaotic times just a simple piece of art can be the inspiration that someone needs!

3) After you cut out the cards fold them in half and Punch the holes about 3/4 inch down from the top.

4) Take one end of the thread (or whatever you're using) through the hole on one side and bring it around through the other hole. From There tie your bow/knot/etc

THERE YA GO!
Now place your business cards into the case! (We used about five)

Place these little cases at coffee shops, use them in shipping, or even carry a few around to pass out to folks you meet on the street!

*Remember that one business card could sale that product that has been sitting in your shop forever. Every card is valuable.
